  1. Good stuff. I think you make some very convincing arguments for actually taking passages in context (something a lot of fundies don’t like to do). I agree with your note that one can easily read one’s prejudices into the work.

  2. Thanks. Someone pointed out that I forgot some oft-quoted passages from Romans, but I don’t remember which ones those are.

    I should also point out that I’ve done very little work trying to figure out whether the sources I quoted are right. I’m no Bible scholar. So take all of that with a grain of salt.
